Pediatric Wing Design for UMass Memorial Hospital

This body of work is a series of illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator. I worked in collaboration with the hospital staff, architects, L'Attitude Gallery, and the Slam Collective to arrange the elements around signage, doors, etc. The scenes depict some of the most iconic buildings in the area surrounding the hospital. Notable landmarks in the nearly 40 foot long hallway mural include Union Station, the Elm Park bridge, Tower Hill Botanical Gardens, Town Hall, Bancroft Tower, Siggy the Dinosaur (at the Ecotarium) etc. The insert in the main waiting room has the city's seven hills depicted. Then the patient corridors are the Burns Bridge, Green Hill Park, and the iconic three-deckers on Vernon hill.

The art is printed on a special wall protection material from InPro. They have a beautiful sheen and texture close up. The elevator sunflower area features a different flower on each floor as a photo but this floor matches the illustrative style of the pediatric hallways.
